Imagine invading someone’s home, obliterating generations of their children, then trying to spiritually launder yourself by dumping your sins on a terrified bird—only to torture and execute that bird too, like divine absolution is just another genocide with garnish. I don’t know what god they’re appeasing, but mine doesn’t endorse blood-soaked cosplay disguised as repentance.
